Michael Rivera is a Real Estate professional at Keller Williams Platinum Realty in Wyomissing. He resides in Bern Township with his wife Zylkia, and his children, Andre, 17, and Adriana, 12.
Growing up in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Rivera graduated cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico, Bayamón Campus, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He later earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Kutztown University. Professionally, Rivera was a small business owner for many years and spent over five years in the banking industry. Prior to his role at Keller Williams, he was the VP of Business Development for RIG Financial Solutions. He also worked as Assistant Vice President of Business Services at the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce & Industry, where he assisted and guided entrepreneurs and business owners in obtaining the resources they need to be successful and developed and implemented programs to help small businesses grow and be sustainable.
In 2009 Michael Rivera was honored as an American Chamber of Commerce Executives 40 Under 40: Rising Stars of the Chamber World recipient. He has also received the Kutztown University Small Business Development Center Service Award, the Berks County Latino Chamber of Commerce Partner of the Year Award, and the Community First Fund Community Advocate of the Year Award.
In conjunction with being a highly skilled business professional, Rivera pursues gratification through altruistic community efforts and values using his experience to help others.
Community engagement is vital for him. He currently serves on the boards of the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Berks County Latino Chamber of Commerce, Berks County Community Foundation, Little Acts of Love and West Lawn United Methodist Church.
